By using PatraLekhan at patralekhan.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

PatraLekhan provides a completely free browser-based tool to help users draft formal letters and legal documents in 62 languages. All 78 letter types and 60 legal document templates are available to everyone at no charge, with no signup required. Optional Pro features are available by subscription.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to use PatraLekhan only for lawful purposes. You must not use the service to generate fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, or harmful content. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of documents you create and send.

3. Intellectual Property & Copyright

Ownership: The PatraLekhan application — including source code, design, UI, templates, translations, and all associated IP — is proprietary to Elysi Archive and protected under:

• The Indian Copyright Act, 1957
• The Information Technology Act, 2000
• International copyright treaties and conventions

Trademark: "PatraLekhan" and the PatraLekhan logo are trademarks of Elysi Archive.

You may NOT:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute this application or any portion thereof
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code
• Create derivative works or competing products based on PatraLekhan
• Use PatraLekhan's templates or content in competing products or services
• Use automated tools to extract or harvest data from PatraLekhan
• Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or distribute the service to third parties

Your Content: Letters you create with your own input data belong to you. The underlying templates, format, and structure remain the exclusive property of Elysi Archive.

4. Disclaimer

PatraLekhan is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Documents generated are templates only and do not constitute legal advice. Always review and consult a qualified professional before using generated documents in formal or legal matters.

5. Limitation of Liability

Elysi Archive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of PatraLekhan, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

6. Privacy & Data

Use of PatraLekhan is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not collect or store personal data on our servers. All document generation runs in your browser.

7. AI Features

AI-enhanced generation requires your own API key from a third-party provider (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.). Your key stays on your device and is never sent to PatraLekhan. You are responsible for your chosen AI provider's terms and any costs incurred.

8. Subscriptions & Paid Features

Pro subscription plans are available. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms. The free tier remains available to all users regardless of subscription status.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to PatraLekhan at any time for violations of these Terms or harmful conduct.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Elysi Archive regarding PatraLekhan.
